This world cup was amazing. So many memorable goals (Letchkov v Germany, Al-Owairan v Belgium, Houghton v Italy, Baggio v Spain, Hagi v Argentina, Branco's peach of a free kick that beat the Dutch) and moments (Maradona's and Finidi's celebrations v Greece, Bebeto's baby celebration, Maradona getting sent home, Salenko's one man show v Cameroon, Ravelli's shootout heroics v Romania, and of course Baggio's penalty miss in the final) It was very far from a dull world cup. Not as good as 90 or 98 quality wise arguably but still awesome.

In those days things were done by pen and paper more than by computers!

Many years ago when I was at primary school after school my father did a computer club which had the old BBC computers as it was the 80s. I always remember when it was the holidays having the BBC computer brought back home for us to use and they were massive put in the boot of my father's 80s style Ford Escort! Nowadays those computers are museum pieces and so is the 80s style Ford Escort!
